• Who is this course for?

This course is for those interested in learning what it means to live a spiritual life. 

• What are the objectives of the course?

To elaborate what is involved in a spiritual path of transformation which opens the heart. Rather than focusing on a theoretical approach, this course emphasizes getting a taste of this opening in our experience.

The aim of each session is to build awareness towards living in a joyous way. In order to do this, suffering is distinguished and then overcome. Sessions involve an exchange that indentifies the afflictions we  are holding onto and then liberates from them.  This is considered an advanced class because it requires a certain level of stablity and general maturity.

During these sessions we engage with the 21 Tara prayer and its commentary. The text of reference for this class is called the Gyuma Lamrim or Stages in the Path of Illusion. It is attributed to Niguma, an accomplished Yogini from Kashmir living about one thousand years ago. Although the basis of improvement is primarily our moment-to-moment experience, this text helps us orient ourselves, review what has been accomplished, and discover what there is yet to accomplish.

I have a spiritual approach. I leave the evaluation of possible support to each individual. I want to offer the total freedom on whether to make a donation, when to make it, and the amount. If you wish to contribute in any other way, feel free to contact me and to propose something.

Generosity is the gateway to a spiritual path and it is the practice that balances more advanced paths, such as concentration and wisdom. An act of generosity cannot be such if moved by fears and constraints, it cannot be imposed or be a basis for future regret. Generosity does not buy or own anything, it has only one way, that of giving what is appropriate without expecting anything back.

If you wish to donate, please do so with an open heart, by carefully considering your possibilities and your motivations. Once you have decided, keep both your heart and your mind open to the joy of giving and sharing. Monetary donations can be made in person but also on this website.
